Liesbeth Bodyn specialised in musicology at Ghent University and also studied musical psychology. She studied classical singing at the conservatory in Leuven. She is fascinated by music education, and a masterclass on "musical dialogue with young children" with Sarah Verhulst (Babelut) opened up a whole new perspective for her. She has attended courses, workshops and masterclasses on subjects such as the "theory of musical learning" by Ewin E., Gordon, Dalcroze and Eurhythmics, among others. For many years she worked for various arts education organisations in Flanders. Liesbeth Bodyn is founder, artistic director and singer of Klankennest, and also works as a teacher in a Steiner primary school.
