Playing Djembé at the paediatric psychiatry
The young people from the peadiatric Psychiatry meet once a week around Robert Bodja, to play the Djembé and to allow full bent to their imagination.
Joy Caravan Esch/Alzette
After the great success of the project "Joy" and "Joy Caravan Echternach", the Foundation EME organizes a new edition of the project in Esch/Alzette. October 2014, the children from the "Foyer St. Elisabeth" and the seniors from Servior "Op der Léier" meet to play the Djembé under the direction of the percussionist Robert Bodja.
The project will be closed by a concert in the Grande Salle of the Kulturfabrik.

Djembé Project with Daaflux
Rumbled is based on the famous fairy tale Rumplestiltskin, about the cruel king, the miller and his daughter and the goblin, who helps her to spin gold from straw, as long as she agrees to his demands. The story will be told in a variety of ways, involving the audience in the spinning of the gold.
The show includes a huge number of interactive elements in the piece. The workshops will be lead by 2 actor-musicians (soprano and baritone) and 2 musicians (clarinets and cello).
OPL rehearsal for autistic children
Gast Waltzing invites, for a third time, the children from the Institut pour enfants autistiques et psychotiques and the Fondation Autisme Luxembourg, to join the musicians from OPL in a rehearsal.
The children have the possibility to sit between the musicians and to follow the Orchestra's activities.
Joy Caravan 2013/2014
After the big success of "Joy" and "Joy Caravan Echternach", the Foundation EME decided to continue the project in Echternach. The Workshops started in January 2014, assembling the children from Arcus asbl and the seniors from the Résidence Seniors "Belle-Vue" and "Am Schleeschen". They will have unique moments together and forget about their age, origins or problems.
The Workshops will take place under the leadership of the percussionist Robert Bodja.
The Project will be finished with a big show the 28th of march 2014. The entrance is free.
Biller sangen 2013
Project with the children from the Education Différenciée. They choose one painting which they bring into sound. After having analysed the pictures, they develop sounds through Bodypercussion and their voices. Those sounds describe the colours, forms or the atmosphair of the picture.
The different sounds will be recorded. A professional sounddesigner will help the children to creat and to edit the sounds.
Joy Caravan Troisvierges
After the bis success of the project "Joy", the Foundation EME planned a continuation of the project, called "Joy Caravan" . The idea is to organises Djembé Workshops in different places of Luxembourg. The actual station is in Troisvierges. Since octobre 2013, children of the boarding school Internat privé Ste Elisabeth come together with the seniors of the carehome "Liewensbam" to play Djembé under the responsability of the percussionnist Robert Bodja. Thanks to his unique feeling for people and music, Robert Bdja conveys the basic technics to his students. He practices rhythm and chant and asks concentration and action. The result are unique moments which bring the musicians together. They play as if there wouldn't be the morning after. The age, the origins and the worries dissapear. Music and Joy are the most important . "Power", as Robert would say.
The project will be finished on Tuesday, 12th of December 2013 at 6.00 pm at the Cube 521 in Marnach. You can reserve your tickets by phone (521 521). The entrance is free.
The Workshop-Project „Tanzende Instrumente“ gives the possibility to the children to get to know music and Dance on different levels. Music can become visible thank to the movement and on the other hand the movement can be an inspiration for the musical process.
The children and youngsters get to know an individual entrance to the musical world full of sounds, melodies and rythm with the direct contact and exchange with the musicians. The introduction of special Towels, which can be used to imiate instruments,give the participants the possibility to express themselves with their body and movement. The body will be an instrument for dance and at the same time they learn the multiplicity of sounds from the different instruments.
The Teachers will assist at a professional development to assure the continuation of the activities in the future.
Spin is an interactive spectacle using imagery, touch, smell and colours.
The English Touring Opera has conceived that project especially for people with special needs. The story of Spin tells one day in the life of a couple.
Schrassig Blues III 2013
"Joy" Intergenerational Project 2013
Hearing-impaired children and Seniors are assembled in one room to play the Djembé together and to give vent to their thoughts. The aim of this project is to spend an extraordinary moment together without thinking about the age, the origins, the disability or other sorrows. Everybody concentrates on his instrument, the songs and the moment full of music with the others.
The workshops are lead by the percussionist Robert Bodja, who represents the african rhythm.
The project will be closed with a final concert at the Grand Foyer of the Philharmonie at the 4th of July 2013 at 6pm.

RedBlueGreen is an interactive show created by The English Touring Opera for people with special needs.
« Bodypercussion» 2012
Bodypercussion is a project which had brought together hearing-impaired children with other children. Thanks to workshops during a whole week, they were able at the end of the experience, to perform a show combining body-percussion, dancing, singing and rhythmic sing language.

Implementation of a rap workshop for the young inmates of the Centre socio-éducatif de l'état in Dreiborn. The Workshops are under the leadership of the musicians from the known luxembourgish group DE LÄB.
After the project's great success in 2011, new workshops are organised between the 17th of october and the 17th of december. A big show including dance and rap, will take place for the whole centre socio-éducatif.

Schrassig Blues I 2009
The Fondation EME organised from mid-October to mid-December 2009 a creative musical project in Schrassig Prison. Professional blues musicians worked together with the prisoners and developed a program which was represented to other prisoners, family and friends at the end of the workshop.

Singing Workshops in ALA homes
Singing Workshops in Psychiatric clinics
Since two years, singing workshops take place regularly in the psychiatric ward of the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch and more recently in the Centre Hospitalier Neuro-Psychiatrique of Ettelbruck.
The workshops are organised in collaboration with the IN.E.C.C.
Since 2009, the Foundation EME organises free concerts in homes and pediatric clinics in Luxemburg in order to bring joy and happiness where it is missed most of the time. Important partners who enable these concerts are login:music, the OPL education program and many luxembourgish artists.
