"Joy" Intergenerational Project
Hearing-impaired children and Seniors are assembled in one room to play the Djembé together and to give vent to their thoughts. The aim of this project is to spend an extraordinary moment together without thinking about the age, the origins, the disability or other sorrows. Everybody concentrates on his instrument, the songs and the moment full of music with the others.
The workshops are lead by the percussionist Robert Bodja, who represents the african rhythm.
The project will be closed with a final concert at the Salle de musique de chambre of the Philharmonie at the 4th of July 2013 at 5pm.
