Workshop: Chamber Orchestra of Europe
Rehearsals and workshops for pupils of the Education Différenciée with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe
Last November, a dozen children from special needs schools went on a journey of discovery of the piece 'Pulcinella' by Stravinsky with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the music animator Ortrud Kegel acting as guides. This introductory voyage into the universe of Stravinsky resulted in the children and artists sharing and exchanging their ideas. During the two workshops, they had the opportunity to use their creativity to put together original dances and compositions, inspired by the work of Stavinsky. The immersion in 'Pulcinella' ended on their participation in the dress reheasal of the concert given by the Chamber Orchestra of Europe in the Grand Auditorium of the Philharmonie.
