Rehearsal of an orchestra-Project

Sixteen students, aged 12 to 14 years, from Special Needs Schools had the opportunity to spend an afternoon experiencing the life of a musician. After a backstage visit of the Philharmonie, they had the oppotunity to meet the musicians and, during rehearsals, to sit by their side like their peers. The lively music managed to captivate even the most restless ones, delighted to be part, even for just a while, of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. A rewarding and exceptional experience for the young people invited!

 

According to first testimonies collected after the repetition, the pupils could “feel the music even in the belly”. With the sound of the trumpets and the percussion “the ground vibrated under the feet”. This was an enriching and unforgettable experience for the young guests.
