Project 'Wassa-Wasser' Musek-an Bastelatelier
Every week a group of thirty young people come together to design and build percussion instruments using recycled material. They are also given the task of composing a piece of music, thereby channelling their energy within two complementary and creative activities. Indeed, the 'do-it-yourself' workshops, run by Edmond Oliveira, and the musical workshops, organised by Robert Bodja, give these children the chance to express themselves and allow their creativity to run free, by designing a piece that is one of a kind.
The final show, which took place on Tuesday 8 December 2009, was the expression of this spirit and group effort, developed throughout this wonderful adventure.
