« Blue » is a highly interactive, multi-sensorial project, which has been specially designed for people with complex disabilities or an autistic spectrum disorder.
For one hour, a group of seven musicians plays blues for an audience of six children. During this time, they embark on a journey that takes them to a magical world and appeals to all of the five senses. These concerts gave the listeners the possibility to communicate with others through music.
Oily Cart, a group based in London, used their time in Luxembourg to pass some of their knowledge in the field on to local artists and train them to work with disabled children. The project has been generously supported from the Banque du Luxembourg, and makes it clear, that this is to be a long term commitment, as the local musicians will be able to cooperate with the foundation in the future.
