Young Public
Since 2009, the EME Foundation regularly organises free concerts within the paediatric units of hospitals in the Grand Duchy. Since January 2011, the musicians also visit homes for children encountering social or family related challenges. These concerts offer the audience the possibility to enjoy live music and brighten up their daily life.

We have scheduled four programs so far:
«Baba Yaga – A traditional Russian tale»
Musical accompaniment with accordion
Sylvie Beythan-Ory tells the story of the little girl Vassilissa and the female ogre Baba Yaga in a show with live music played by the accordionist Daniel Gruselle. The tale suits an audience of children aged 5 to 12, lasts 45 minutes and can be told in French or in German. «Baba Yaga» introduces children to folk and classical Russian music and enables them to travel into the Eastern land of magic and mystery.
«The Boy Who Cried Wolf» and «The Hare And The Tortoise»– after Aesop
Two musical fables performed by an OPL quintet (in French or German)
«The Boy Who Cried Wolf» is the story of a young shepherd who, out of boredom, calls «Wolf! Wolf!» to see the villagers come running to his help. This bad habit eventually deserves him when he is actually confronted with the wolf and no one is willing to believe in his calls.
The next fable is the famous tale of the race between the hare and the tortoise. With its legendary ability to run and win, the hare does not consider this race as really challenging. But the hare might be hung by his own rope…
Both fables will be recited by one of the musicians. Between the stories and on request, the musicians can make a short presentation of the instruments used during the performance.
«The Clown Ribouille»
Ribouille is a clown who communicates through music and mime only. A musical show who will delight the younger ones (3–8 years old).
Saxophon duo
Two saxophonists take the children into a world of popular and lesser known melodies. Children will be thrilled to discover or recognize popular tunes («Peter And The Wolf»…). Nadine Kauffmann and Jessica Quintus have been working with the Foundation EME on numerous projects and are always delighted to entertain young publics.
