The confidentiality and security of the personal data of our customers and user of our website www.fondation-eme.lu (hereinafter referred to as "the Website") is very important to us, and this document is intended to explain in a transparent manner what data is processed, why it is collected, stored, shared or used by us, and what action you can take.

We process your personal data when you use our Website, for instance, to obtain information, to request information via the forms provided on the Website or to subscribe to newsletters regarding our services. We process the data in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

The personal data you disclose to us, such as your first name, surname, title and e-mail address will be saved during the processing of your request and then deleted by us.
No data is disclosed to third parties and the data is used exclusively for the purpose of processing the conversation.
...as part of Newsletters EME:
If you opt to subscribe to one of our Newsletters offered on our Website, the data collected during the registration process, such as your first name, surname, title, e-mail address, telephone number and postal address, will only be used to send the Newsletter in question.
This processing is based on the execution of the contract between the parties.
Your data will not be stored for any longer than the time you are subscribed for the service. Your data is deleted once you unsubscribe.

In the case of a donation made via our website, your data will be processed securely by the Saferpay service.
Your personal data will be stored in the EME database for the purpose of their processing, namely the internal management of the donation made. They will be included in our personal database so that we can send you a tax receipt for the donation made and an annual information brochure. If, after your donation has been processed, you would like your personal data to be deleted from the database, please inform us in writing at contact@fondation-eme. lu. Your data will be immediately deleted from our database and you will no longer receive our brochures. EME ensures that personal data are not transmitted to third parties. While browsing our Website, you will see that we embed YouTube videos in some pages of our Website and on our Website's blog. Viewing these pages may result in YouTube content being loaded. When you view these pages, YouTube also receives your IP Address, which is a technical requirement for displaying the content. We have no influence on how YouTube processes your data.

While browsing our Website, you will see that we embed Vimeo videos in some pages of our Website and on our Website's blog (www.vimeo.com). Viewing these pages may result in Vimeo content being loaded. A connection is established between your browser (end device) and Vimeo's servers when you view these pages. Your data, such as your IP address and the device you use to visit the page, as well as your activity, may also be processed. By loading the video file and initiating any other interaction with the video playback service, Vimeo may then be able to process more of your personal information, for example, to analyse the video you are watching or your interests. We do not collect, store or process, at any time, the personal data of our users visiting these pages. Social media may use web tracking on their web pages/ Please note that there is a possibility that these social media may use your profile data to analyse your habits; personal relations, preferences, etc. We have no influence on or control over the way social media process your data.

The Website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"), which collects website usage statistical data so that website operators can improve their website's offering. Using cookies, it stores anonymous browsing-related information and more specifically the pages viewed by the user, the date and time pages were viewed, the website sources from which our Website was accessed, the geographical area of and the computer equipment used by the user while browsing (operating system, browser, screen resolution, etc.). Google Analytics send this generated data (including part of the user's IP address) to Google servers in the United States. Google uses this information to assess the browsing habits of website users and to compile reports on website activity. These reports can only be viewed by the Institution. User rights
In accordance with the regulation, the user has a right of access and may ask whether or not their personal data is processing by us, and, if necessary, information about how it is processed.
In addition, the user has a right to rectification of their data, a right to restriction of processing of their information and, if necessary, a right to erasure of their personal data.
You also have a right to object, on legitimate grounds, to your personal data being processed. Thus, we will no longer process your personal data, unless legitimate and compelling reasons prevail over your interests as well as your rights and freedoms.
The user also has a right to withdraw their consent at any time. Furthermore, and except in cases where the processing of their data is mandatory (collected, for example, as part of a legal obligation), the user may, for legitimate reasons, object to it.
If the user so wishes, they can exercise these rights and/or request this information to be sent to them by contacting the Institution via the contact details provided above.
