This project was a colourful, fabulous production inspired by the tale of Rumpelstiltskin, which told the traditional story of the miller and his girl, who transforms the bad king’s straw into gold, with the help of Rumpelstiltskin, in order to save her own life.

The show contains many elements that encourage the public to participate via touch, sound, smell, and voice.

The workshops were led by a soprano and baritone, as well as by a clarinettist and cellist from ETO – English Touring Opera. This one-week project took place in June 2014.
