Jean-Marc Apap has been violist with the Luxembourg Philharmonic since September 2009. Previously, he took part in the world premiere of Glenn Gould's String Quartet, with which he toured Europe, the United States and Canada. He has a diverse repertoire, both on albums and in concert, including Ray Charles, Michel Legrand, Samy Davis Junior, Johnny Halliday, Georges Benson, Les Rita Mitsouko and Ben Harper. In 2010, he embarked on a new series of concerts with Richard Galliano, devoted to the music of Bach and recorded by Deutsche Grammophon.Within the EME Foundation, Jean-Marc Apap plays with the Pravaha ensemble and also has a solo programme.
