Taipan (Vincent Habay) began his music journey in the late 90s. In 2001, he was discovered by the Paris-based label Original Bombattak and contributed to the compilation of the same name, which sold over 100,000 copies. In 2010, he signed with the rap artist Youssoupha's label, Bomayé Music. In 2012, he featured on the track "Bouche à oreille" from Youssoupha's album "Noir D, " which sold 150,000 copies. Since 2012, Taipan has been participating in Rap Contenders, acapella verbal battles, with his battles amassing millions of views on YouTube. Each edition at the Cabaret Sauvage in Paris attracts an audience of 2,000 people. He developed a passion for sound engineering and in 2016, decided to establish a recording studio in Paris and create his own label. Upon returning to the region, he aims to share his experience with emerging local artists by offering services in sound design, composition, writing, and mixing.
