Ars Nova

Josip Dragnić is Croatian guitarist, guitar professor and festival organizer. He received master degree in guitar studyng at the Academy of Arts in Split (Croatia) and at the Hochschule für Musik in Nürnberg (Germany). He is a founder and director of Chamber Music Festival and Classical Guitar Days in his hometwon Split and founder and member of Split Guitar Quartet with which he tours all over Europe. Since 2013 Josip lives in Luxembourg and maintains very intensive pedagogical and concert activity. Josip teaches at the Conservatoire de la Ville de Luxembourg and in UGDA music school. He is also a member of Ars Nova Lux ensemble that performs music of Luxembourgish composers around Europe. Together with his colleague Hany Heshmat, Josip is founder and artistic director of the Luxembourg Guitar Festival.
