Music has been Alfred's passion since childhood, influenced by the records he listened to with his family. It was big band and church music that motivated him to discover the trumpet as an instrument, enabling him to play in church bands, big bands and rock combos. It was only later, as an adult, that he discovered the saxophone, which he has been playing for many years and which he has grown to love, because for him it is even more expressive.
Since 2007, Alfred has been playing in the Luxembourg jazz combo Body+Soul, in various configurations ranging from duo with piano to quintet with vocals.
