Ileana's relationship with dance began at a very early age thanks to her father, who often danced with her when she was a child. His natural sense of movement left a strong impression on her and remains, to this day, a reference point in her understanding of dance as something that is experienced and shared. Encouraged by her mother, she entered the Luxembourg Conservatory, where she trained and graduated in jazz, ballet, and contemporary dance, before continuing her studies at the London Contemporary Dance School, from which she graduated in 2017.
She is participating in Moien, mir si Gefiller!, a project developed with LUCODA in collaboration with D'Ligue and the Mierscher Theater. The project explores the relationship between dance and mental health and is presented during Mental Health Weeks 2024.
Since September 2024, she has been teaching contemporary dance at the Luxembourg Conservatory, extending this focus on people and process to an educational context.
