After graduating with honors in piano from the “Vincenzo Bellini” Conservatory in Catania, she moved to Cologne, where she worked as a collaborative pianist at the Cologne Musikhochschule. She made her debut in Vienna as a pianist and composer. She released her first CD, "some works of mine, " featuring her own works. The Vienna-Prague-Budapest International Summer Academy commissioned her a work: "Sonate für Fagott und Klavier", which received enormous success in Prague, Slovakia, and Italy. In September 2003, she was chosen to conduct a concert in honor of the Italian presidency of the European Parliament. For this occasion, Nelly LiPuma wrote the "Symphonia per l’Europa". Choral conducting courses at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm with Anders Eby and Gary Graden. In Sweden she worked as co-conductor of the Opera Kör in Södertälje with Maestro Giovanni Impellizzeri. She founded and directed the Young Voices choir of the Herbert von Karajan Centrum in Vienna. She has conducted the Jedweder Küchenchor, an a cappella choir renowned in Vienna for its numerous interpretations and its always brilliant, bold, humorous, and unique productions of a vast musical repertoire. The Polyphonica Ensemble from Beirut, Lebanon, under the direction of Paul Meer, presented her choral works in a series of concerts entitled "Women of Note, Notes of Women." She was invited to participate with her work at the IHLOMBE FESTIVAL, in South Africa. She has worked as a choral conductor at the University of Vienna. Her "Indo-deutsche Rhapsodie" had its world premiere in New Delhi, India, with the India Youth Orchestra in the presence of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. She was selected by the Austrian Foreign Ministry as a representative to lead the Austrian Music Caravan project in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Tbilisi, Georgia, with numerous workshops and concerts. She pursued advanced training courses with Simon Carrington. Her love for singing led her to study Lied, Mass, and Oratorio, graduating with top marks from the Diocesan Conservatory of Vienna. Her music has been performed in Italy, Austria, Spain, the UK, Sweden, Israel, Lebanon, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Georgia, and Brazil. She currently works as orchestra conductor with the Youth Orchestra of the Music School in Trier, and as Choir conductor with the choir Portavoci and Cantores Trevirensis.
