Paulo, a Portuguese musicologist, educator, and artist from Leiria, taught at the São Carlos National Theater in Lisbon following a brief career as a baritone. He has directed various music schools, including the Lisbon National Conservatory, and launched artistic projects for young children, notably Cradle of Arts. He has also been involved in community initiatives, such as Opera in Prison. Paulo is a founding member of the Institute of Ethnomusicology and coordinated Leiria’s bid for the title of European Capital of Culture 2027.
