Hy-Huu Dang, born in 1997, is a classical saxophonist and teacher from Luxembourg. He trained at the Amsterdam Conservatory with Arno Bornkamp and Willem van Merwijk, and continued his studies in Ljubljana through the Erasmus+ program. Winner of the Young Soloists Competition (2018) and the special prize at the European Lions Competition (2021), he was selected in 2023 for the preliminary rounds of the prestigious Adolphe Sax International Competition in Dinant.
An ambassador for JLV Sound, he conducts the Mierscher Saxophone Ensemble and teaches at the regional Museksschoul in Mondorf-les-Bains and at the UGDA School of Music. An active member of the Luxembourg Saxophone Association, he contributes to the promotion and influence of this instrument in Luxembourg.
