Isabelle Poulenard

Vocal

A graduate of the Maîtrise de Radio-France and the Ecole de L'Opéra de Paris, Isabelle Poulenard was soon attracted to the interpretation of music from the 17th and 18th centuries; she has worked with J-C.Malgoire, R.Jacobs, W. Christie, G.Leonhardt, S.Kuijken, J. Suhubiette, M.Minkowski, C.Rousset, J.Corréas…
Her varied repertoire ranges from baroque opera to contemporary works by Mozart, Rossini, Weber, Verdi, Massenet and Poulenc. She also performs regularly in concert and recital. After teaching in Boulogne Billancourt, Perpignan and at the Early Music Department of the Paris CRR for over 10 years, she now devotes her time to teaching singing in the form of masterclasses and private lessons. At the same time, she practises vocal coaching and personal development through the voice.
In July 2003, she was made a Chevalier dans l'Ordre des Arts et Lettres.
