Drums up !

In the third trimester of the school year 2017–2018 Dreiborn is transformed in "Drums Up!". A percussionist will lead a percussive music project.

The instruments used are, in particular, personalized sound objects, such as metal drums, scrap and boxes.

Through the dynamic and at the same time structuring potential of rhythm in the combination of alienation of everyday materials, the young people can achieve a high degree of activation.

Rhythmic percussion instruments in general and the everyday materials used in particular are suitable for the reduction of aggression potentials as well as for a highly differentiated musical design as found in the works of contemporary artists.
