Voices unchained

This musical project creates a safe and supportive space where participants can express themselves freely, build self-confidence, and take pride in a creative journey made just for them. They learn the basics of singing and songwriting, explore their creativity, and strengthen social bonds within the group. The final song, shared beyond prison walls, helps raise awareness about their lived realities.

At the end of September, during three days of intensive workshops with Priscila Da Costa in Block ‘F’ of the CPL in Schrassig, the voices of the inmates will resound to the notes of songs chosen by the participants themselves. The music and singing in particular will give the inmates a chance to get to know themselves better and to tame their voices in a joyful atmosphere.
