Antonio Bellomo, aka Dropastor, is a 55-year-old guitarist and singer from Luxembourg and Italy. Trained from the age of 8 in private music schools in Italy, he learned music theory, harmonization and improvisation. After experimenting in bands and working in Paris with music designer Arnaud Gauthier (2003–2005), he moved to Luxembourg, where he began composing instrumental pieces and songs that were broadcast on YouTube and SoundCloud (2013–2016), influenced by pop-rock and film music.
Since 2016, he has been working on a number of acoustic projects with various artists: Laura Karvelyte, Manuela Rufolo (Italian Soul Duo), Christos Liouris (Mirror Face), Greta Vernizzi, Doina Cocirta, Laura Ratcliffe (Laura Ratcliffe Trio) and Kloé Green (Cabà Duo). In 2020, he founded the duo Lizbeth & Dropastor with Marie Lizbeth Ikonomou, performing folk, country-rock and pop-rock classics. At the same time, he took part in charity and cultural events in Luxembourg.
In 2022, he took a private training course with songwriter Lata Gouveia and began working with the EME Foundation. In 2023, he created Viavai, a duo with Sophie Guzzo, revisiting Italian chanson with jazz, swing and bossa nova arrangements.
