When rap becomes a superpower
Published on 07 May. 25

Alongside Nikki Ninja, a committed and passionate artist, children from the Switch and X-Track socio-therapeutic centres will have the opportunity to write a song on the theme of superpowers. This theme will enable them to explore what makes them unique, powerful and capable of overcoming the challenges they face on a daily basis. Through music, they will work on self-esteem, confidence and asserting their identity.
This project is not just about creating a song: it's a real journey of artistic expression and personal development. Each child will be guided to identify and name his or her own superpower, an inner strength, quality or skill, which will become the common thread running through the collective song.
To preserve their anonymity while making the most of their participation, the artistic team will design an original music video. Using creative solutions – shadow play, animation, silhouettes, symbolic staging – the video will highlight their message without ever showing their faces. This aesthetic choice allows young people to feel represented and valued while respecting their privacy.
The clip will be filmed at Les Rotondes, an iconic venue on Luxembourg's cultural scene. Thanks to our collaboration with Les Rotondes, the children will have the unique opportunity to perform in a professional setting, on a real concert stage.
The music video produced as part of the project will be presented to the public at the art exhibition organised by Telos Éducation and Solina Solidarité Jeunes on 20 June 2025 at 6pm at the Hall Polyvalent in Schifflange. This event will be an opportunity to highlight the creativity, courage and talent of the young participants, in a caring and rewarding environment.
A huge thank you to the Fondation André Losch for its invaluable support, and to Les Rotondes for their artistic commitment and generous collaboration.
