Sigrid Reisenberger

Sigrid Reisenberger studied music and movement education at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Over the past 25+ years, she has worked as a composer, musical director, director, choreographer, dancer, and actress – including extensive collaborations with Ayad Akhtar and with Doug Hughes at the Lincoln Center Theater (Broadway/New York). She has been involved in numerous productions with dance and theater ensembles, at state theaters in Austria and Germany, and for the Festival Wien Modern. Additionally, she has been engaged in interdisciplinary music outreach projects for institutions like the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Fondation EME. Since 2019, she has been leading the Wiener Schauspielakademie Ott (www.ottstudio.at), where she also teaches physical presence and directs musical productions.
