Waxwings
2015
The guest ensemble ETO – English Touring Opera – will inspire Luxembourg’s children with their new show, Waxwings, in June this year. It travels throughout England and gives more than 110 performances a year. Its aim is to give everybody an opportunity to enjoy high-quality, professional opera.
ETO has developed a special programme for children with special needs. Once a year, it takes this programme to the Philharmonie in Luxembourg. The performances are designed for people with multiple handicaps and autistic people. This is a fabulous, colourful performance, with instrumental accompaniment. The participants take away beautiful memories of this fabulous atmosphere.
Every year a large number of children enjoy this show at the Philharmonie.
