Piano and singing duo (Jean-Nico Schambourg, Arina Rasheva)

Jean-Nico Schambourg, bass, studied singing with Luisa Mauro and, as part of the ‘Sequenda’ opera laboratory, with teachers Mireille Alcantara (Paris) and Enza Ferrari (Scala di Milano). He attended masterclasses with Jennifer Larmore, Barbara Frittoli and Ramon Vargas organised by ‘Sequenda’. He has taken part in Carlo Hartmann and Yannchen Hoffmann's Opéra du Trottoir productions (‘Op der Juegd’ by Dicks and ‘Carmen’ by Bizet) and played the role of the Commendatore in ‘Don Giovanni’ in a ‘Sequenda’ production. As a soloist he sings concerts of opera, operetta and musicals, as well as Lied and mélodies. For the past two years, he has performed with great success in the show ‘Ee Bass, zwee Bäss(er)’ with Manfred Logelin and Christophe Nanquette. Under the name ‘Schammilux Productions’, he organises his own opera concerts. Since 2022, he has been writing music reviews and articles for the ‘klassik-begeistert.de’ website.

Arina Rasheva, pianiste, est née à Tambov en Russie dans une famille de musiciens professionnels. Elle commence ses études de piano dès l'âge de sept ans. En 1998 elle intègre l’Académie russe de musique Gnessine de Moscou, où elle obtient son diplôme en 2003. Elle travaille depuis comme accompagnatrice à l’Institut de musique A. Schnittke de Moscou. Elle donne régulièrement des concerts aussi bien en soliste qu’en musique de chambre. Depuis 2018, Arina et Jean-Nico réalisent des concerts pour compte de la Fondation EME. Dans le cadre des «Concerts contre la solitude», ils ont enregistré en mars 2020 un récital à la Philharmonie.
